Santiago (25 images)
In Santiago, Chile, our hotel was in the neighborhood known as Londres-Paris, which feels like an old European city. Santiago was hot, but not as hot as Buenos Aires. It was also smoggy. The smog ruined what would have been a great view of the Andes, but did not cause us any respiratory problems. We went to 4 museums in 2 days. Our favorite was the Precolumbian Art Museum. At the Museo Bellas Artes, we saw a temporary exhibit on the Columbian architect Rogelio Salmona.
